T. Scott Binford, PA-C

Licensed by the NC Board of Medical Examiners and board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Scott Binford received a master of medical science from Emory University in Atlanta in 1996. After relocating to North Raleigh in 1996, Scott accepted a position with a local neurosurgical practice and has been with Raleigh Neurology since 2002. Scott completed a BS in biology at Montevallo University and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the NC Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Neurology. He enjoys spending time with his daughter and outdoor sports including soccer, volleyball and boating on the North Carolina Intracoastal Waterway.

Jan Campbell, PA-C

Jan is a native of Virginia. She received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies in 2011 from South University in Savannah, Georgia, and she moved to North Carolina in 2012. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and she has previous experience in interventional pain management. She joined Raleigh Neurology’s Pain Clinic in 2015.

Stacey Carroll, MSN, ANP

A native of North Carolina, Stacey received her BSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001. She has over 11 years of experience in neurosciences and critical care nursing. Stacey completed her MSN at East Carolina University in 2012 and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She lives in Raleigh with her husband and two children.

Kelsie Cato, PA-C

Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Kelsie received her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies in 2009 from the Medical College of Georgia. She is NCCPA board certified and has worked in Neurosurgery as well as inpatient Neurology. She has relocated to Raleigh from the Orlando, FL area in early 2015 with her husband and three children. She enjoys watching movies, seeing new places, and spending time with her family.

Edie Ferris, AuD, Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Ferris holds the Clinical Certificate of Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She received her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University. Practicing as an audiologist since 2000, Edith specializes in Vestibular Disorders and has a strong interest in Tinnitus treatment. She offers comprehensive hearing evaluations, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing, Videonystagmography (VNG), Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMP) and Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP). Edie lives with her dog in Holly Springs.

Sean Frush, PA-C

Sean was raised in West Virginia and earned his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University. Prior to relocating to the Raleigh area, Sean was a primary care provider and also practiced in Internal Medicine with a cardiologist. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, he is now focused on assisting the Raleigh Neurology inpatient team at WakeMed.  When not working, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He has an enthusiasm for overall wellness in his occupation and personal life. When outdoors, find him on the lake or a trail.

Reham Ghali, PA-C 

Reham grew up in North Carolina and received her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was a research scientist at GlaxoSmithKline and Grifols prior to receiving her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University.  She is NCCPA board-certified. When she is away from work, she stays busy with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling in her free time..

Alison Hansen, NP

Ali moved to North Carolina from Salt Lake City, UT with her fiancé in 2018. While working towards her graduate degree, she worked as a nurse for 7 years in various areas both in the hospital and outpatient setting. These include neuro intensive care, interventional radiology, and 3 and a half years in the Raleigh Neurology nursing float pool. She received her BSN in 2019 and MSN in May of 2022. Ali is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner. Outside of work she enjoys camping and spending time her fiancé and their pets; a dog and two cats.

Suzanne Hartmann, ACNP-BC

Suzanne grew up in Virginia. She attended the University of Virginia and obtained a BSN in 2002. She practiced as an adult critical care nurse until she returned to UVA to obtain her MSN in 2012. She is certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center. Suzanne is a coffee enthusiast who enjoys traveling to visit family.

Scott Ihde, PA-C

Scott Ihde grew up in Iowa but has lived in South Dakota, California, Virginia, New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and now North Carolina. He attended college at the University of Sioux Falls. He received a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse in association with Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN and Gundersen Lutheran health care system in La Crosse, WI. Prior to joining RNA, he spent 8 years at Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology. When not working, Scott enjoys hiking, movies, and exploring the world with his partner.

Andrew Irons, PA-C

Andrew was born and raised in the area of Los Angeles, California. He is a graduate of the Duke University Physician Assistant Program with a Master of Health Sciences. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board, and certified by the NCCPA. Andrew works in the sleep medicine clinic and also provides general neurology care. He has prior experience working in orthopedics, and he has been practicing as a physician assistant since 2008. When not seeing patients, he enjoys time with family and friends, being outdoors, cycling, and playing music.

Virginia “Ginger” Jethro, PA-C

Ginger is a native of Melbourne, FL. She moved to North Carolina in 1995 after receiving a volleyball scholarship to Lenoir-Rhyne College. Upon completion of her BS degree, she began studies at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program, where she graduated with Academic Distinction in 2003. After graduation, Ginger initially practiced family medicine, but eventually moved on to Neurology, and has been practicing in this field since 2005. She lives in Wake Forest with her husband and son. They enjoy watching NFL football as a family, especially the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos.

Eric Kirch, PA-C

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Eric Kirch graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in biology and psychology. A graduate of the Philadelphia University Physician Assistant program in 2000, he has extensive experience in outpatient headache and chronic pain management. He enjoys a variety of sports in his free time along with being a fervent Steelers fan.

Harry Lay, FNP-BC

Harry is a native of Georgia and relocated to the Triangle in 2008. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Medical College of Georgia and his Masters of Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to joining Raleigh Neurology, Harry was a Nurse Practitioner at The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. Harry currently resides in Durham and enjoys spending time with his wife, watching sci-fi, and playing guitar.

Carrie Lewis,  RN, MSN, CPNP, CPHON

Carrie was born and raised in the Detroit, Michigan area and moved to NC in 1998. Before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, she worked as an RN for 10 years in the Pediatric ICU and with pediatric oncology patients. She received her Masters of Science, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Duke University in 2002 and has experience in pediatric primary care offices, pediatric oncology, and pediatric urgent care. She returned to school for a Post-Master’s degree in Acute Care Pediatrics at Emory University to combine her love of taking care of children in both the office and hospital setting, and will graduate in December 2018. Carrie is looking forward to caring for children with neurological disorders, and partnering with their parents to provide excellent, comprehensive care of the child in all aspects.
In her spare time, Carrie is a huge Carolina Hurricanes fan and has been a Season Ticket Holder for 10 years. She shares her love of animals by bringing her therapy dog, Abbey (Golden Retriever) to visit children in schools and libraries.

Meghan Murphy, AGNP-C

Meghan E. Murphy was raised in Reston, Virginia. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008, and from New York University with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2015. She is board-certified as an Adult Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. As a nurse practitioner, Meghan has worked at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Duke University Medical Center, and UNC Medical Center. As a registered nurse, she worked in both surgical and medical intensive-care units at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two dachshunds, Ernie and Kermit.

Thinh Nguyen, FNP

Thinh Nguyen was born in Vietnam and relocated to the States at age 4, where he was raised in Virginia. He graduated with a dual-degree of a BS in Psychology and a BS in Science in 2009 from the Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. Thinh graduated from VCU’s Accelerated BS program and received his BS in Nursing in 2010 and practiced as a RN on the Acute Neuroscience Unit of the VCU Health System. He graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner program and received his MSN from Georgetown University in 2014. Thinh is a board-certified FNP through the AANP and is a member of Psi Chi, Sigma Theta Tau, and the AANP. He enjoys soccer and table tennis, as well as spending time with his wife and their two dogs.

JJ Omega, AGNP

Born and raised in the Philippines, JJ relocated to Raleigh, NC in 2017 and has been employed at Raleigh Neurology Associates ever since. While working at RNA as a clinic nurse, he completed his MSN in 2022 and was subsequently certified as an adult gerontology nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He spends his free time relaxing in the great outdoors, either trail running, trekking, or mountain climbing.

Jaya Reddy, PA-C

Originally from India, Jaya moved to the United States and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to joining Raleigh Neurology, Jaya worked as part of medical care teams delivering care in practices located in North Carolina and Texas.

Gretchen Reichmann, MSN, FNP-BC

Gretchen was born and raised in Ohio.  She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing at Indiana University and moved to Chicago, Illinois to complete her Master’s in Nursing at Resurrection University.  Gretchen is ANCC Board Certified and has worked within Pain Management since completion of her Master’s degree in 2015.  She lives in the Raleigh area along with her husband and their dog.  While away from work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, snow skiing, biking, and cheering on her Indiana Hoosiers.

Michelle Saleeby, PA-C, MSPS

Michelle was born in Japan and at the age of one moved back to her father’s hometown of Dillon, SC, where she was raised.  For undergraduate, she attended the University of South Carolina where she graduated magna cum laude with a biology degree.  Michelle then completed PA school at the Medical University of South Carolina.  Michelle brings her experience in orthopedics, urgent care, and pain management to Raleigh Neurology and is eager to expand her knowledge of Neurology and abilities as a practitioner to provide patients with the care they deserve.   In her spare time, she enjoy traveling, hiking, concerts, trying new activities and restaurants.

Jenna D. Simon, PA-C, MSPAS

Jenna was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. For undergraduate, she attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania where she graduated summa cum laude with a psychology degree and concentration in neuroscience. Jenna then received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2021 from the University of Mount Union and was inducted into Pi Alpha, the national honor society for physician assistants. She then went on to receive specialized training in neurology by completing a year-long fellowship program with the Medical University of South Carolina. Jenna has also been recognized as a MSCS Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.  Her goal at Raleigh Neurology Associates is to provide evidence-based and empathetic care to all of her patients. She spends most of her spare time relaxing and traveling with her beagle, Myla.

Originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Holly received her BSN from East Carolina University in 2002 and has worked as a critical care nurse in medical and surgical intensive care. She attended East Carolina University and received her MSN in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2007. Board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with AANP, Holly is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Phi Kappa Phi, and Omicron Delta Kappa. She enjoys playing tennis, fishing, and spending time with her nephew, Cole. Holly lives in Raleigh with her husband, Emmett.

Cassady Turregano, NP

Cassady is originally from North Carolina and has returned to the triangle after spending the last several years in various locations across the country. She completed her Master’s degree as a nurse practitioner at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. and has her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In family practice, Cassady has a long history of working with neurology patients. She particularly enjoys working with those with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, migraines, seizures, as well as memory and movement disorders. When not focused on work, Cassady enjoys spending time with her husband, son, family, and friends. She spends her free time creating art projects, volunteering and traveling.
