What to Expect

We are here for you.

Whether you’re having headaches, sleep issues or a wide range of other neurological diagnoses, we will take a comprehensive approach to determining your diagnosis and the best course of treatment.

Once your initial consultation has been scheduled, you will meet with one of our neurologists. Your complete neurological examination may include lab work and testing such as MRI’s, EEG’s, or nerve conduction studies.

Most required testing can be performed at the same location where you see your provider, and our schedulers will be happy to work with you to find the most convenient appointment times for you.

Once results have been analyzed, you will meet with a provider on your care team for a comprehensive review. We’ll tailor a treatment plan to determine the next steps to best serve you.

To Make an Appointment as a New Patient

At Raleigh Neurology Associates, our primary focus is providing the highest quality care to our patients and families. As a new patient, you can simply pick up the phone to request an appointment with us:

  By Phone 919-782-3456
Our patient service representatives are available from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be happy to assist you. They will provide all the information you need to ensure the most meaningful initial appointment with one of our neurologists.

In some cases, your insurance carrier may require a referral from a physician. We work closely with all area primary care physicians, who will make a direct referral on your behalf. Once your referral is received, our team will contact you to schedule the appointment and start your journey to wellness.

We realize that insurance plans can be confusing. We participate in most major insurance carriers and our skilled patient service team will help you understand your coverage.  Please be aware that in order to file an office visit to insurance, the patient must always be physically present at the appointment.  For our pediatric patients, a parent or guardian must be present at an initial visit, although another family member may be authorized to bring the patient to subsequent visits if needed.

The Day of Your Appointment

As a first-time patient, there’s a lot of information we need to get to know you!

The day before your appointment, we will send you an email and/or text option to complete Self Check-In ahead of your appointment.  This helps us out a great deal and saves you time!  If you are unable to complete this, please arrive 30 minutes early for that first appointment so we have ample time to work through your initial intake process. Please make sure to bring your photo ID and your insurance card with you to each appointment.  For copays and any private pay payments, we accept all major credit cards and checks.  We are a cash free office, so we are unable to accept any cash payments.

We understand your time is valuable so we are constantly working to make your healthcare experience more efficient.

We look forward to your visit with us!
