Dr. Tim was born and raised in California. He received a BS from Stanford University in 1982, and an MD from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in 1986. Dr. Tim completed a neurology residency and a fellowship in electromyography and neuromuscular disease at Duke University Medical Center. From 1991 to 2000, he served as head of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at Duke and director of the EMG laboratory at the VA Medical Center in Durham. Dr. Tim joined Raleigh Neurology Associates in 2000, and is currently the director of the Nerve Conduction Study and Electromyography Lab. At Raleigh Neurology, Dr. Tim only sees patients for Nerve Conduction Studies and EMG.
