Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Robottom earned an MD from the Medical University of South Carolina. From 2004 to 2008, Dr. Robottom completed an internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Systems. He then completed a movement disorders fellowship at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, receiving additional training in the management of Parkinson’s disease and tremor disorders.

After serving on the faculty at the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine, Dr. Robottom joined Raleigh Neurology Associates in 2011. He practices general neurology with special interests in clinical research and in the use of botulinum toxin (Botox®) for neurological disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Movement Disorders Society.
