What is an Occupational Therapist?
Occupational therapists have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in occupational therapy, have passed a national board examination, and are licensed to provide services in North Carolina. Their education includes the study of Gross Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, as well as human growth and development with specific emphasis on the social, emotional, and physiological effects of illness and injury. Our therapists are highly skilled and encompass an array of training and certifications.

Occupational therapy services require a referral and prescription. Some insurance companies also require pre-certification.
