Raleigh Neurology Associates is pleased to offer a state-of-the-art aquatic therapy pool at our 1520 Sunday Drive location.  Our therapy pool includes a chair lift for those who cannot walk into the pool or be placed in the pool via a wheelchair. Our integrated underwater hydraulic treadmill and variable counter current technologies offer increased or decreased resistance workouts.  We offer aquatic therapy classes, which are kept small (roughly 4-6 participants per class), and meet 2 times a week for 8 weeks.  The therapy pool is also available for private sessions.  Participants must be ambulatory without assistance and have no issues of bowel and bladder incontinence.  

Both adults and children can benefit greatly from aquatic therapy, specifically those suffering from arthritis, back/neck pain, obesity, headaches, hypertension, osteoporosis, generalized joint pain, and many others.   Participants will need to obtain a signed referral from their physician for "aquatic exercise."  If you are interested in private aquatic physical therapy sessions, please have your physician send a signed order for 'PT Evaluation and Aquatic PT' to the therapy schedulers, either by fax at 919-719-3531, or by phone at 919-420-1682.
