Our neurodiagnostic capabilities have increased under the leadership of Dr. Richard Tim, who joined the practice in 2000. Our team of licensed technologists works with Dr. Tim to perform nerve conduction studies, electromyography, electroencephalography, and evoked potential studies.

Dr. Tim received a BS from Stanford University in 1982 and an MD from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in 1986. He completed a neurology residency and a fellowship in electromyography and neuromuscular disease at Duke University Medical Center. From 1991 through 2000, he was the head of the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic at Duke and the director of the EMG laboratory at the VA Medical Center in Durham. He joined Raleigh Neurology Associates in 2000, and he is currently the director of the Nerve Conduction Study and Electromyography Lab. |
